Prince Harry has managed to carry on with his love of playing polo after moving to the USA, having recently signed up to a new team.
While polo is not as popular in the States as it is in the UK, the Duke of Sussex has found a way to put his polo skills to good use after moving to LA with his wife, Meghan Markle.
He has joined polo team Los Padres, which is run by Argentine sportsman Nacho Figueres, one of the most well-known polo players in the world, and a good friend of the royal family.
Prince Harry has been taking part in competitions with his new team, and recently played a game at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club.
Despite being pictured falling from his horse during the dramatic match, he also reportedly scored two goals.
It is thought that the 37-year-old is so keen to maintain his polo skills, he has been training four times a week and going to the gym most days, British player Millie Hine told the Daily Mail.
This is likely to be due to the fact that two members of the team are still teenagers, including 16-year-old Kristos Magrini. The son of Matias Magrini and brother to Santino, who are also polo stars, he comes from a line of exceptional players.
Juan Guerrero is also 16, and, according to Nacho, has a “very bright future ahead, but also a very good present”.
If you are inspired to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry, why not sign up to polo lessons?
